Trivandrum: The services of KSRTC Swift, the new entity formed by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation to manage long-distance services, were flagged off by the Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today at a function held at the Central Bus Station in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Bypass Rider service, which will skip bus stands in traffic-dense towns and cities, was also flagged off yesterday. KSRTC Swift will operate four Volvo sleeper services on the much needed Banglore-Thiruvananthapuram route. The six bypass rider services are from Thiruvananthapuram to Kozhikode, Mananthavady and Kannur.
